I started this fan fiction a few years ago in a Word Document, but I never really cared for it. But earlier today I was looking through old files, and I read it again. I realized it wasn't half bad, so I re-wrote the first chapter, which is below. This is my first fan fic here, so don't blame me if I did something wrong, and I'll fix it the best I can.
PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU READ THE ACTUAL FAN FIC: When you are done reading the first chapter, PLEASE tell me what you liked, what you didn't like, and if you think this has potential. Don't hesitate to express yourself; I won't be insulted. There are 19 chapters so far, but they are extremely un-edited, so I only had time to edit one. If this turns out good and I'm not too lazy, I'll probably finish it (end result will probably be 50 chapters).
GIGA BOWSER'S REVENGE CHAPTER 1
Everybody knows about Mario's adventure to Final Destination. The reason for going to such a weird place was that Bowser was scheming something there. As usual, after an easy battle, Mario won. But, somehow, Bowser came back in an extremely more powerful version known as Giga Bowser. That was probably Bowser's plan in the first place. Luckily for Mario, Giga Bowser couldn’t get to full power before Mario barely defeated him. Everything could have been different if Giga Bowser had enough time to get to full power.
These days, everybody is usually calm because Mario and Luigi beat all the bad guys. They had a shocking surprise during the events of "Paper Mario", where Bowser became invincible, but Mario still beat him. However, what will happen now is far worse than anything that had happened before…
Now that we're done with the introduction, let's get to the present day. This was a special day. Every year or so, the universe goes crazy and smashes different dimensions together, therefore allowing the Mushroom World, Hyrule, Dreamland, and many more places to connect. The heroes in each world like to have friendly battles when this dimension-mashing event happens. That eventually became the main event of this strange phenomenon. It became known as "Super Smash Bros".
Like I mentioned before, today is one of those days. This year's story is far more epic than any of the other years. It all started in the Mushroom Kingdom. Mario and Luigi were happily walking to Peach's Castle, where researchers have found a clue of where one of the portals may be. But there was a seemingly minor problem: Bowser!
“Mario!” Bowser roared, “You always show up to my kidnapping scenes!”
Mario rapidly dashed toward Bowser while Luigi charged himself for a Green Missile. Bowser sprayed Fire Breath toward Mario, but Mario jumped over it and made a great impact on Bowser. Luigi then realized that if he shot himself as a Green Missile, he would hit Mario, too. He couldn't stop now so he launched himself toward a place with no people… but it wasn't like that for long. A panicking chef happened to be running toward that spot, and Luigi hit him. The Ultra Shroom and Volt Shroom he was carrying got infused with the power of Luigi's Green Missile and went flying toward Bowser. Mario dodged it and Bowser went flying.
While everybody was celebrating (and while the nearest portal's location was close to being pinpointed), Bowser was lying somewhere near the borders of the Mushroom Kingdom. He ate the Green-Missile-Powered Ultra Shroom. Not only did he feel better, but a part of his body started reacting. He then also ate the Volt Shroom, which was the last piece of the puzzle. Somehow, Bowser had found another way of turning on Giga Bowser, thanks to Luigi and the random chef. If Mario struggled with a weak version of Giga Bowser, what chance did he have with the full version, which was literally 100 times stronger? Soon he will be ready to go back to Toad Town… Nobody was going to like this. Not even Bowser, which you will find out about soon enough…
