Making this topic because the game's coming out soon and there's some new information about the endgame. There are some major spoilers here so don't say I didn't warn you.

Everything still looks exactly identical to NSMB and they didn't even bother composing a new castle theme. Final battle is pretty much the same as NSMBW's except vertical. And it's not shown in this video, but apparently the reward for collecting a million coins is just a new title screen.

Yeah I'm pretty much adamant on not getting this game now unless the downloadable version is dirt-cheap. Maybe you guys eat this kind of stuff up though.

I dont care how bad the reward is. I need a new game for my 3DS so im getting this. Also, koopalings! So pretty much an instant buy for me

It's a really stupid concept and totally not worth 40 bucks (retail or downloadable)
This game is just there to get money that was lost from Nintendo.
I hope this doesn't happen with NSMBU. Or else, wow. My faith in Nintendo is lost. On the bright side, dem graphics will be pretty : D (at least i hope....)

I like it it looks pretty neat im pre-ordering it on friday plus you have a flying racoon suit and no 3d land doesn't count because you can't fly.

I'm not worried about NSMBU. It actually looks kind of fun and doesn't seem to revolve around a pointless, unrewarding gimmick. It just doesn't scream "cash-in" to me like NSMB2 does.

Still wish we could finally get a good Mario game for the 3DS though.

SM3DL was good. It has flaws (like not being able to fly) but i found it to be a pretty good game that kept me playing. In fact, i beat the game 100% 2 days ago, and i was disappointed only by the lack of unique bosses and seemingly non existent themes in the worlds. So in my opinion, the 3DS did have a good Mario game.

Sorry about the rant.
